On October 30, 2021, the 22nd Chang’an Cup Japanese Contest for Chinese College Students, co-organized by the University Alliance for China-Japan People-to-people Exchanges, the Chinese Association of Japanese Teaching and Research and Xi’an International Studies University, was successfully hosted. Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19, the contest of this year was held both online and offline. Videos of contestants were broadcast in the main venue in Xi'an, and scored by the judges in Tokyo’s sub-venue. After a fierce competition among contestants and a rigorous selection by the jury, Xiang Cenyu and Li Zhijie, students of the School of Japanese Culture and Economics of 2018, won the first and second place in their groups, for which our university was awarded an honor of “School with Outstanding Performance”.
