The third outdoor event to celebrate the Shaanxi “Belt and Road” Cultural Carnival was held at the Great Tang All Day Mall on the evening of May 29 and 30, 2021. The event, with Uzbekistan as the theme country, aims to promote the cooperation and mutual learning in education between China and Belt and Road countries.

The performance was organized by the Xi’an International Studies University (XISU) and co-organized by the Shaanxi Normal University and Northwest University. The Carnival is hosted by the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province and involved with efforts from different institutions and committees including the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, the Management Committee of Qujiang New District of Xi’an, the Foreign Student Education Management Branch of Shaanxi Association of Higher Education, and relevant universities. Zhang Liang, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Division of Shaanxi Provincial Education Department, and Jing Nan, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office (ICEO) of XISU attended and watched the performance with other leaders from the ICEO, School of Chinese Studies and School of Central Asia.
